on pentum 4 , 256 Ram, WIN XP, OFFICE 2003
MS Access Shows 100% CPU Utilization During Idle Time
and decrease the performance of other applications

"Note Microsoft Access only uses CPU resources that are idle. If your
computer has other processes that are ready to run, it will run them.
Microsoft Access does not decrease the performance of other applications as
it polls its message queues. "

in another computer CPU for the same project is not more then 7%

how can i solve it ??????????

As the article also says, "this behavior does not occur in Access 2000". The
article is for older versions of Access, 2000 and newer shouldn't do this.
Since it is only happening on one computer, there is something running in
the background on that computer or Access didn't install properly. The first
thing I would try would be to go to http://office.microsoft.com and make
sure that all of the latest patches for Office are installed. If they are,
then I would try uninstalling Office, rebooting, and reinstalling Office.
Another thing to check, does Access do this even if no database file is
opened? If not, does it do this with only one database file or all of them?
